“Ce faci, frate?” by Pedrito

Imagine a Brasilian asking you: “Ce faci, frate?” or “Ce faci, papuşă?”. If you are from TEMPO, you know that the Brasilian character’s name is Pedro… ’cause you used to hear this every day at work.

It’s been a week since Pedro Pahl, one of our two Brasilian art directors, has left the boat. It was such a sad news for us to find out that he is going away… to Frankfurt!

Some of us remember his last autumn arrival: when they picked up Pedro from the airport, his first question was whether he should wear his passport on him in case the Police asks him to identify himself. “In my country, he said, you see guns and hear shots in the street”.

Then, when Elena took him to his new home, he was so enthusiast about it! The first thing he did was to call his parents and girlfriend and tell them how good it was. After that, he insisted to see the center of the city and Elena dropped him to Piata Romana, gave him some money and a piece of paper where she put her phone no. and the agency’s address…

Appearances might mislead you: large tattoos, big hair, rocker T-shirts and black earrings. But when you get to know him, Pedro is such a nice and warm person, sharing smiles and hugs to everybody… how could anyone not like him? The Client Service girls already miss him. And Viorela from BTL… she is still so upset that she wasn’t here at Pedro’s farewell party
